The 2026 Formula Student Easter competition was a truly successful event for the Arrabona Racing Team, as our team secured 3rd place in the overall standings. The final score of 396.5 points is particularly valuable to us, as we managed to reach the podium in a strong international field, right behind the PWR Racing Team and the TU Graz Racing Team.
One of the race’s greatest successes was our first-place finish in the Skidpad event, where our ART_13 car demonstrated excellent handling, suspension, and traction. Our time of 5,208 seconds not only secured the category victory but also validated the engineering work the team had invested in the car’s dynamic development.
The autocross event also went exceptionally well: our team finished in 2nd place, trailing the winner by just 59 thousandths of a second. This result confirms that our car performs superbly even on technically demanding tracks, and that our drivers are in excellent form and quickly get a feel for the course.
We also managed to secure a podium finish in the acceleration event with a time of 4,634 seconds. Although our fastest times would have meant a victory, due to a minor technical infraction, we “only” had to settle for third place.
We also delivered a solid performance in the static events. We placed 5th in both the Business Plan and Engineering Design categories, which provided important feedback on the team’s technical, business, and presentation skills. These results show that we prepared successfully not only for the competition itself but also for the static events.
Overall, the competition was an important milestone for us. Although there is still room for improvement in some categories, our third-place finish overall clearly demonstrates that we are heading in the right direction. The results achieved at Formula Student Easter serve as professional validation, motivation, and momentum for the next development phase and upcoming competitions.
